How to become stronger if i am skinny

Well first things first you need to eat. When i say eat, i mean eat a lot. If you are a skinny person and want to become more stronger you should be eating five to six times a day. Its pointless busting your ass at the gym if you are not eating the right amount of food in a day, because you will be going nowhere! Not even slowly!

However its easier said than done. Trust me i have been there. The reason why i emphasize so much on your nutrition is because in order to grow, the ratio is 20% training and 80% nutrition. If you dont take my word for it, ask all the big time instagram models and the mr olympias. They will tell you the same thing. So yeah your nutrition plays a big role in becoming stronger if you are skinny.

Compound movements

Secondly when you are training, dont just walk into a gym and look lost. Always have a plan. Ask yourself, what is my goal? What do i want to look like? What is the desired end result that i want to achieve? Then start planning the way forward. The reason why i say this is because everybody who walks into the gym has a different goal so the would be training accordingly. Your goal is to become stronger so your focus should be training compound movements for the next 3 to 4 months. So in order to do this i want you guys to do these workouts 3 times a week in your first months. They are as followed

Squats

Deadlifts

Benchpress

Military press

The four of these workouts are very effective for becoming stronger, squats builds your legs. Deadlifts target your hamstrings and your back. Benchpress targets your chest and military press targets your shoulders.

You should be focused on progressive overload when you perform these workouts. 4 sets of 6-8 reps per set. It should take you 1 hour to complete all four workouts in one gym session

Lastly, dont be intimidated by other guys who are bigger than you in the gym. We all started somewhere. Just stick to this program and you will become more stronger and even start looking bigger. Your shoulders, back, chest and legs are all big muscle groups. Thats why they need to be hit hard! When those main muscles grow, thats what makes you look bigger even though you could be a light weighted person. Not saying you wont pick up weight but you will seem bigger in other peoples eyes. You have to build your frame first before you work on the other smaller muscle groups
